Meet Our staff

David earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Alabama in Huntsville.  He also completed post-graduate work in Literature at Alabama.  In 1999, he graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary.

David served as the Stewardship Pastor of High Point Baptist Chapel from 1991 - 2021.  David is involved in preaching, teaching (both home and abroad), counseling, discipleship, park ministry, and music.  David's wife Angie is involved in children's ministries, music, discipleship,  and counseling.  David and Angie have earned Counseling certification through the Christian Counseling Educational Foundation.

David and Angie were married in 1976.  They have three married children: Sarah (m. Ryan Cushman), Zachary (m. Jenni), and Miranda (m. Brad Detandt).  David and Angie enjoy the outdoors, travel, and hospitality.

Clinton has completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Massachusetts Global.

Clinton has served as Worship Leader since 2018.  Prior to accepting this position, Clinton was the Assistant Worship Leader for 14 years.  In addition to leading worship, Clinton also develops the visual enhancements for worship each Sunday.  

Clinton is also an active musician and trumpet player in a local big band and has played from multiple playhouse productions in the orchestra.  He has also performed with the Tullahoma Civic Choir and currently performs with the Winchester Civic Choir and the American Legion Community Band in Winchester.

Charlene graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  

She then taught K, 1st, and 2nd Grades in the Franklin County School System for 10 years before going to teach Pre-K at Wesley Preschool in Winchester, where she has been for the last 9 years.  She loves the opportunity there for sharing Christ with her students and learning scripture together.  

In November 2021, she began working as secretary for FBC Estill Springs on the days she is not teaching.  Other interests include music, gardening, and needlework.
